To measure is to know
Improve your success with clear statistics
Improve your email marketing with a clear view of the response. It sounds like a cliché, but to measure is to know! By analysing the response to your mailing properly, you gain more insight into what your reader needs. What do they click on? What do they find interesting? Is the newsletter being well received at all?

Heatmaps
The heatmap gives a clear visual picture of the click-through (CTR, click-through rate). With the heatmap you can see straight away where in your newsletter people clicked a lot, and so where your audience's interest lies.
This gives you valuable insights for follow-up communication.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Analyse further in Google Analytics
MailCamp integrates with Google Analytics (GA4), so you can follow click behaviour on your website further. That way you measure the conversion resulting from your mailing and the return on your email marketing.
By giving every campaign unique UTM parameters, you can see in your Google Analytics overview which campaign is doing well and which is not.
Via CSV or API
Export statistics
For many companies it is important to be able to read out the results in their own dashboard. In MailCamp you can easily export the results as an Excel file (CSV). Not just the overall statistics, but also the individual opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounces, complaints and more. And this is also possible via the API.
CSV
Export the overall statistics or export the individual opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounced email and spam complaints.
API
By using the date filters smartly, you can retrieve these results through simple API calls.

Frequently asked questions
Read the questions and answers about the statistics in MailCamp below.
Is MailCamp compatible with Google Analytics 4?
Absolutely. Not much has changed on the MailCamp side, as UTM parameters are still used in the URLs of a newsletter. Read this article about Google Analytics 4.
Are there any costs for using the MailCamp API?
Not always. We apply a fair use policy. Contact our sales team and let us know what you want to use the API for.
Does MailCamp process Feedback Loops?
Yes, MailCamp processes Feedback Loops from a great many email providers. The mail headers also include a CFBL header (Complaint Feedback Loop Header).
Does MailCamp also track the device a newsletter was opened on?
Yes, we use the screen resolution to log what kind of device the newsletter was opened on, for example a desktop/laptop, a tablet or a mobile phone.
Is an unsubscribe link mandatory?
Yes, an unsubscribe link is required (by law). It may be a different unsubscribe link than the one from MailCamp, as long as the unsubscribes are handled correctly.
Keep in mind that the mail header always contains an unsubscribe link. It is not visible to the recipient in the newsletter itself, but it allows an email client to offer an unsubscribe option in the interface of the mail program the newsletter is opened with as well.
