Maintenance on the sending server
Update: the maintenance has been completed. On Tuesday 1 July 2025, planned maintenance took place on the sending server between 08:00 and 11:00. The maintenance was expected to be finished quickly; we reserved extra time to test the processes properly.
Impact
- No mailings could be scheduled for sending on 1 July 2025 between 00:00 and 11:00.
- Mailings that had started before 23:59 on 30 June and were still being sent were completed as normal.
- Mailings that had already been scheduled, or were scheduled automatically (such as sign-up confirmations, birthday emails and RSS emails), were sent automatically once the maintenance was complete.
Why was this necessary?
This maintenance was necessary to equip the sending server with security updates and system optimisations. These changes keep the infrastructure secure, stable and future-proof. Regular maintenance prevents outages, closes vulnerabilities and ensures that sending processes keep working correctly. The maintenance was carried out during the day so that all suppliers and technical parties involved were available to ensure it went smoothly and according to plan.
